Hit sign in again - This time it should say signing in with microsoft account It then prompts you to put the phone back in the headset to return to minecraft - do so Remove the phone from the headset and follow the instructions to sign in Once it loads hit sign in - it says to remove the phone to do so It asks you to update to the latest version - say no Once the Xbox app is installed, load up Minecraft - allow any permissions it asks for Go to the Library menu and download the xbox app from the 'not installed' section Install it directly from the My Files folder on the phone (may be called something else if your not using a galaxy S7) Go to: and download the apk file: Minecraft: Gear VR Edition 1.16.0.2 Uninstall any android version of Minecraft from the phoneÄownload the following APK file: Minecraft-v1.14.30.51Äownload the ultimate achievement world from and added it to the games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds folder on the phone ![]() Uninstall any version of the android xbox app from the phone ![]() Uninstall the Xbox app from the Gear VR menu. Uninstall Minecraft from the Gear VR menu. I was in an endless loop of being instructed to remove my phone to sign in and when I did, either nothing happened or I was told to put my phone back in to use the app, only for the loop to start again. Anyways. I'm not saying this is definitive but it is what worked for me, so it's worth a try if you're struggling. After countless frustrating hours of messing about trying to get this to work, I finally managed to find a solution. ![]()
